Gift of Israel is a community-wide program that helps families save money to send their children to Israel as teenagers or young adults.  

Gift of Israel is a partnership program between the family, Temple Emanuel and the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.  Typically, the family contributes $100 each year which is matched by the congregation and Federation for a total yearly contribution.

The funds saved can be used for the Temple Emanuel Confirmation Class trip to Israel when the student is in 10th grade or for another organized, educational program. 

Families are encouraged to enroll in third grade, but can enroll up through 6th grade.   Gift of Israel is a wonderful opportunity to guarantee that your child will be able to have the meaningful experience of traveling to Israel.  Please stop by and speak with Jean Klein or call the Religious School office at 856-489-0035 for more information.
