Educate our students in the spirit of Jewish tradition and the practice of Judaism.
Impart the basic knowledge of Torah and instill in the student an awareness of the significance of the Torah as the foundation of the religious and ethical tradition of Jews.
Instill a belief in one God through tefillah (prayer), the celebration of Shabbat, the festivals and the Jewish life cycle.
Impart knowledge of the Hebrew language and understanding of its importance as a key to Jewish sources in order to create a strong living bond with the Jewish People.
Develop in the child a sense of COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY through tzedakah and tikun olam and an appreciation of the commandment that “all Israel is responsible for one another.”
Implant in the child a deep love for and knowledge about the LAND OF ISRAEL.
Enhance and to foster a positive Jewish identity and a commitment to synagogue and Jewish communal life.
