At Temple Emanuel we love and value the comfort and warmth of tradition. These traditions help us meet the challenges of every day life. At the same time, we encourage unique and innovative ideas that open the doors for spiritual growth and fullfillment. Please join us to experience all that Temple Emanuel has to offer. Rabbi Jerry David and Rabbi Larry Sernovitz always welcome members and prospective members to discuss all of the wonderful opportunites available at Temple Emanuel.
Shabbat Evening Service begins at 8 pm each Friday throughout the year, except for the first Friday of every month when a Family Service is held at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. A highlight of our Family Service is the Birthday Blessing when members and guests are called to the Bima. On the third Friday of each month, couples celebrating an anniversary during the month are called to the Bima for an Anniversary Blessing.
Tot Shabbat, a lively and interactive Service geared to young families is held in the Chapel on the first and third Friday of every month at 7 pm. We encourage families with young children to attend, sing and then join others for a snack.
On the first Friday of each month we offer an Alternative Adult oriented Service in the Chapel at 7:30. We encourage those who are looking for a more adult oriented worship experience to attend our Alternative Service officiated by one of our clegy. This interactive Service is a highlight for many of our members and guests.
Following our evening worship Service there is an Oneg Shabbat with refreshments and the opportunity to socialize, meet and greet old and new friends.
Shabbat Morning Services, Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.
Babysitting is available in the Library, free of charge, during Friday night services except the first Friday of each month during Family Service.
