Kol Emanuel - Adult Choir: Kol Emanuel, (Voice of Emanuel), is Temple Emanuel's Adult Choir. The choir’s repertoire includes Jewish liturgical pieces, music of the Holocaust, and compositions by contemporary Jewish composers in Hebrew, Yiddish and English. Temple Emanuel's Youth Choir, Shirei HaYeladim, is under the direction of Donna Friedman. The group has grown into a vibrant component of Temple and community events. Songs are Hebrew and traditional, with even a few popular refrains thrown in for good measure. The choir is open to 2nd grade students and older. It meets on Sundays from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. Shirei HaYeladim is a rewarding and fun enhancement to your child's education as well as a great way to get to know the other students
