Feeds
What's a feed? A "feed" is just a simple way of allowing news readers or podcast listeners to make sure they get every episode of a podcast automatically. By using a special website or special software called "feed reader" or "pod catcher" software, you will automatically receive new episodes of the podcast. Some software even allows you to automatically update programs onto a portable digital audio player. The most important thing to know is that "subscribe" is just a word we use for how you get podcasts automatically. There is no charge to "subscribe" to a podcast feed. A feed is also referred to as "RSS" or "Really
Simple Syndication." It's just a technology that makes distribution
of podcasts easier for those of us who produce them. If you want
to read more about RSS, there's a very good description here. Here are some resources you can use to subscribe to podcast feeds. Web Based Feed Reader/Pod Catchers
