Curriculum

Temple Emanuel’s Religious School’s mission is to impart the basic knowledge of Torah, and develop a connection to God through study of prayer, Shabbat, the festivals and life cycle and knowledge of Hebrew.  We emphasize a sense of community responsibility through tzedakah and tikun olam.  We implant a deep love for and knowledge about the land of Israel and foster a positive Jewish identity and a commitment to synagogue and Jewish communal life. Our approach to learning is that we incorporate excellent programming with fun and creativity.  We incorporate family education and a hands-on approach in our school, creating Jewish memories and adherence to Jewish values.
